Feature – Log

Special Feature : Log Location : Under the    icon  in the top right corner of every  Master & Transaction screen  Purpose: 1.To  check  if any changes were made to a record. 2.To  track  by whom & when the changes were made. How to use : To check  if any changes were made to  a  record in the (lets say) Account Voucher screen
  • Select the particular record in the Account voucher screen  > Under  > Click Log
                    Result: The Event log  of the selected record for Account voucher screen Output:  Displays  the list of  events starting from the creation of the record and any further changes made to  the record  along with particulars like  name of the user , time & date of the event. Benefits of the  feature : The feature Log benefits us to 1.identify and correct any careless mistakes made by the user who created the record himself 2. identify if someone in the organisation is deliberately modifying the data. 3. take necessary actions  against the person who modified 4. correct the entries well in time before the change  has a greater impact on any of the reports.
