Appraisal Plan

Clear performance goals make the performance appraisal planning process much easier for both managers and staff members. Every company has a different approach to its performance appraisal. Some companies hold an annual review process, which may have assessment sessions annually, semi-annually, or quarterly. The Goodbooks contains an efficient Appraisal Plan screen that can be used for defining of Period and Appraiser of different KRA types. Go to Path: HRMS-Transaction-Appraisal-Appraisal Plan
  1. Name:  Enter the name for the Plan. For example, the appraisal plan for January to June then names like "JANJUN2021".
  2. Description:  Enter any additional details about the plan like "Performance Appraisal for the period Jan-2019 to Jun-2019".
  3. Type:  Set the Appraisal Type whether the KRA is standard or any specific KRA for a specific department in this field.
  4. Nature: Select the nature type from the following categories.
    1. Peer-to-Peer:  Here the Appraiser is the person, reported by appraising and the appraiser is evaluating by getting information from the person(s) who are all reported to him.
    2. Reporting-To: Here the appraiser is the person who is reported by appraising.
    3. 360 Degree: Here the appraiser may be the person who is the sub-ordinate to appraise or superior to appraise.
  5. Self Appraisal: Apart from the Appraisal nature there is an option that the appraiser can evaluate himself and act as an appraiser.
  6. Performance Period: Set the period for Performance Appraisal
  7. Entry Period:  The period in which the appraisal Plan is prepared. This is additional information that is not considering anywhere in the appraisal procedure.
  8. Generate:  After entering the above necessary information then click the "Generate" button to generate the plan for these settings.
  9. Click the Save button to create an appraisal plan.
