All products and processes must retain a level of quality and this can be achieved by setting up parameters. Parameters are nothing but quality measures that can be used to check the overall quality of the product.
Fields & its description:
Define any code and its corresponding name for the parameter.
The data type of the parameter has to be specified and there are several options like int, string, date, object, etc.
Choose according to your parameter type
After entering the data type, it is required that you specify the data size which is the maximum size allowed. E.g. If you have entered 10 for data type string, this means that ten characters are allowed.
Select a unit of measurement from the pick list for the parameter.
The parameter can be categorized into the type of information it shows. Specify that type here.
This is the minimum value set for the parameter. Minimum value and the following fields are data specific i.e based on the data type you have selected before.
The parameter must have a maximum value and you can enter that value here.
Choose the current functionality status of the parameter from the given options.
