Parameter

All products and processes must retain a level of quality and this can be achieved by setting up parameters. Parameters are nothing but quality measures that can be used to check the overall quality of the product. param Fields & its description:
  • Code/Name
Define any code and its corresponding name for the parameter.
  • Data type
The data type of the parameter has to be specified and there are several options like int, string, date, object, etc. Choose according to your parameter type
  • Data Size
After entering the data type, it is required that you specify the data size which is the maximum size allowed. E.g. If you have entered 10 for data type string, this means that ten characters are allowed.
  • UOM
Select a unit of measurement from the pick list for the parameter.
  • Type of Info
The parameter can be categorized into the type of information it shows. Specify that type here.
  •  Minimum Value
This is the minimum value set for the parameter. Minimum value and the following fields are data specific i.e based on the data type you have selected before.
  • Maximum Value
The parameter must have a maximum value and you can enter that value here.
  • Status
Choose the current functionality status of the parameter from the given options.
