Leave Request

Path: HRMS>Transaction>Leave>Leave Request Goodbooks HRMS allows employees to apply for leaves through the platform, without the need to send any additional emails or the need to speak to the HR department. The leave request screen is responsible for containing information about the leave applied by the employee. There is an option to check the available leaves of an employee on the right side of the screen.  
  1. BizTransaction Type: The BizTransaction Type will be selected automatically in this field.
  2. Leave/On Duty No: The Leave number is automatically filled once the providing the necessary details in this screen.
  3. Date: Select the date when the employee will be requesting the leave.
  4. Reference No: Enter the reference number if required.
  5. Date: The date when the employee is applying for the leave will be selected here.
  6. Employee Name: Select the name of the employee who is requesting leave.
  7. Valid From & To: Enter the leave period by providing the start and end date in the Valid From and To field.
  8. Leave/On Duty Type: There are different types of leave, select the type of leave required by the employee. E.g. Sick leave.
  9. Remarks: Enter the remarks such as the reason for raising the leave request.
  10. Leave/On Duty Days: Enter the total number of leave days applied by the employee.
  11. Now click on the Fill button which results in the entries being filled in the table. If there is a half-day leave, click on the Days column in the table and specify it as 0.5. Doing so will automatically fill the Leave Days.
  12. The Available Leaves table will show the number of leaves present for the employee.
  13. Click the Save button.
  14. Wait till the popup appears on the screen to confirm that the leave request is sent.
