Then the Quantity of the Item to be produced should be entered. In the lower grid, Select/Enter the items which are necessary to produce the above said item along with the process and quantity. BOM has a fixed list of Material Types including Input - Raw Material, Input - Accessories, etc Excess quantity is the Wastage/excess quantity that is included in the item quantity itself. Stage and Placement are used to mention the order of the items based on the requirement stage and the location of the item respectively. The user can select suitable Material Type based on the requirements. This is used in Material Requirement Planning (MRP). | |||
