Add Employee to Attendance-Detailed

When hiring a new employee, the primary procedure an Organization does is to add them to its Employee database list. In doing that the employee gets registered in the mandatory fields for maintaining the required database. Adding the employee in the attendance field is one of the main criteria to allocate certain rules and regulations, based on the shift timings. One of the mandatory fields is adding the employee to the attendance field. Let’s discuss each field to know its functions
  1. Employee Code - Upon selecting the employee code, the following details will be linked for further procedures. Keeping employee code first, and under the code, each and every transaction for the employee will be executed.
  2. Employee Name: Default created when the employee code is created.
  3. Pay Period: A pay period is a shift time over which employee time is recorded and paid. Examples of pay periods are weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly. A weekly pay period results in 52 paychecks in a year. This gives the payroll clerk time to calculate pay for these employees. When the employee has joined, they must be added to begin the start of a payment processing period, for example, see below
This is a sample picture to illustrate, how the pay period is allotted to employees.  The month the employee has joined the company.  Which Pay period will be assigned for him, this is based on whether the employee joins at the starting of the month, or middle of the month, according to the DOJ the pay period will be done.  And at the time of joining, the date will be added as a mandatory procedure.  When the month of joining is selected the period of payment will also be automatically added for the next month’s pay. It’s not that each month it has to be created newly, it's a general procedure for the payroll job to work in this field.  But is it necessary to check on the payment each month? Yes, it is because. But to know more detailedly {Please visit - Transaction - Payroll Processing}  Coming back to the Add employee, the shift hours are allocated to the employee based on the nature of the job, the shift will be affixed until the management takes any other steps to rearrange any work allotments.

4. Pattern: As per adding the employee, the pattern the employee is entitled to should be allotted in relation to the shift.

The Organization will have its own routine of patterns for the nature of the job as said earlier, it changes as per the decision from the management end.

5. Shift: In any of the above selected, the shift will also be allotted.

Now it will be easy for us to compare the pattern and the shift.  To know more about the Shift and the pattern please visit: Master - Attendance - Shift Master- Shift Pattern - Employee Shift pattern By filling the above-said fields and carefully allotting the mandatory fields which are given with the Asterix * is very important, without completing these fields the page will not get saved.

6. Kindly recheck and then click on the Save button.
