Monthly Attendance
The attendance database for the whole month of an employee can be viewed or retrieved for information from this page.
In this Monthly Attendance tab, it is primarily helpful for the employee to know the Working days, Present days, Weekly off, Holidays, Leave days, Paid Days, No Paid days, Overtime Hours, Overtime Factor Hours, Compensation work, Compensation off, Work type and other types of leave defined below.
This is a simple access page in the ESS – Report tab.
Till the last month, the monthly attendance is spread across for our clear understanding. Here we can see
- The enlisted Working days allocated per month wise for an individual.
- The employees present days in each month.
- Weekly off the employee has taken, the column shows the number of weeks the employee has taken weekly off. Here the numbers differ per month, 4 and 5 are usual week offs granted, but few months, the employee has taken only 3 weeks off, which means the employee has worked on a week off.
- Holidays per month, granted or given as per the company decision.
- Leave days – where the employee has taken leave, it may be due to sick leave, casual leave, Absent, or any sort of leave which comes under any of the above circumstances
- Paid days – All together paid days per month, it will include present-day, comp-off on paid leave.
- No Paydays – where the employee has taken Casual leave, loss of payday.
- OT Hours – Overtime hours, is based on when the employee works for extra hours.
- OT Factor hours – This concept is where the employee works overtime and getting paid. In a few companies, the employee will be paid according to the overtime, based on the organization, the payment can be as per the work hours or extra paid for the hour.
Work type – The work type here says, the employee belongs to which department.
In any organization, it is a usual procedure that the leave will be issued for the whole year and segregated each month. For example, 18 days are issued for a year as a sanctioned leave, in this per month 2 days are provided for each month, apart from this if an employee takes an extra leave, it may be also taken as a Loss of pay, sick leave, double loss of pay.
These segregation’s explained below will help us to understand better
L_CL = Leave on Casual leave, in the default two days leave sanctioned and the employee has taken one day, the remaining one day will be updated as a Casual leave, Earned or Paid leave.
L_CLOP = The CLOP means “Casual leave Opening”, in the default leave type the employee has been provided in the shift, each month.
The other types mentioned below follow the same method in defining itself
- L_LOP = Loss of Pay
- L_COFF – Comp off
- L_COFFOP = Comp-off Opening is the same as the Casual leave Opening.
- L_DLOP = Double loss of Pay
- L-SL – Sick leave
- L-ML – Maternity leave
- L-PL – Paternity leave
