Feature – Draft

Special Feature : Draft Location : In the top right corner of every  Master & Transaction screen Purpose:  1.To  save an unfinished entry 2.To  track the number of records saved as drafts for the voucher 3.To track which were the records saved as drafts along with the time when  each draft was created and updated 1.Save the  unfinished entries as drafts. 2.View the  list of the records saved as drafts 3. Complete the unfinished entries and/or delete the unfinished entries How to use : In order to Save an  unfinished entry , click the Draft If you are not able to  fill all the fields while entering a record in (lets say) Sales invoice screen , Click Draft to save the unfinished entry Result: The number in the blue circle near the Draft box shows the number of drafts being saved . Display:   To view the drafts saved, click the drop-down menu next to Draft Draft List displays the list of  unfinished entries along with the  date  created and date updated To complete the unfinished entry, click the entry in the Draft list screen  in any of the fields. It will take you back to the unfinished entry and allows you to  complete the entries in the rest of the fields UF7 To delete the entry from the draft list click red button on the right end of each entry. UF6         Benefits of the  feature : The feature Draft benefits us to 2.Save time preventing replication of work 3. Take time to either complete or delete an unfinished entry   How to save an unfinished entry of  record? Sometimes you are not able to enter all the fields of a record  (due to insufficient data or due to any other reason) then you have an unfinished  record  and you will not be able to save/update a record if it is unfinished. If you click the Save/Update option  a notification pops up showing the number of incomplete fields as issues You still want to save the the data which you have already entered  in some of the fields. There is a feature  available to save an Unfinished Entry called Draft on the right side top of each of the screens UF1 UF2
