The Goodbooks HRMS offers a different set of functions to streamline Qualification, designations, employee categories, personal details, location, and branch, work type, shift type, sector-wise, segments, sub-units, nationality, etc.
These are the main concepts that any organization can run through, keeping this as a foundation the company maps data, for any procedure to prioritize. But what if these data are not streamlined and not successfully arranged for any quick action in the need of the hour.
Therefore the data needs a sequence of arrangements, and hence the data captured must be kept in a Centralized manner and also to be simple to easily accessible.
For example, if we are bringing in a new concept in the organization, which has to be understood from the ‘top management to the daily worker’, the concept has to be very simple in understanding.
Let’s take Daily Attendance, each day the employees have to punch in for attendance if newly a Biometric device is adapted to streamline the process, and to map all the employees under the device, then we have to create a name to bring the access for each employee.
CODE - BMD
NAME - Bio-Metric Device
So, if we keep the code and the naming concept simple, as said above everyone can easily make use of the device and the attendance will be properly recorded.
Follow the illustration:
CODE - click on the NEW and the code will be generated.
NAME - Same for the name tab also
In the Remarks, we can add the details, like - BMD - attendance purpose, for the entire Organization or Branch.
After registering the needed data click the save button and the below message will appear. This creation and registering of the entry are performed for the whole Type Master tool.
Once the required entry is created under a specific name, make sure the entry is not repeated or added again in the same name.
Do not add the same entry name again, because adding in a different name causes confusion, for example, here we have created ‘BMD - Bio-Metric Device’, but adding again as ‘Device - Bio-Metric’ will cause confusion, therefore it will be easy for acquiring the needed details at a point
To avoid that follow the same name pattern.
