Process master has details regarding any industrial process that takes place in your organization. Here, information like the process’ unit of measurement, rate type, charges, etc., are known.

Fields & its description:

• Code

Enter any code for the process in this field. E.g. DYE.

• Name

Specify the name of the process corresponding to the code. E.g. Dyeing.

•  Charges

Enter the charges involved in the making of the process.

• Type

Select the type of process from this list. This can be main process if it involves only one type. Other options include sub – process and parent process. If your option is sub – process then you must also specify parent process. E.g. Stitching may be a sub – process of Production, which can be its parent process.

•  UOM

Unit Of Measurement used in this process can be specified in this field. If the product is measured in length, then UOMs like meters, yards, inches, etc., can be selected.

• Rate Type

Choose the rate type in this field. This is can be InputQtyBased if the process is charged based on the input resources. If output resources are rated then select   OutputQtyBased. Fixed should be selected if the rates are independent of any input or output parameters.

• Pay Account

Select the pay account from which the pay is made for the process. If you have a specific account for this type then select that account here.

• Receive Account

Receive account receives the payment for the finished process. This may be a specific or general account.
