Organization Unit (OU) level settings is a component of Payroll Settings. This can be used to view all the details regarding the Provident Fund (PF) of the employee. There are two tabs under OU level settings where information about the general PF information and the Contribution made by your organization can be established.

Similarly details about the ESI, TDS, Voucher Type and Pack Sl no is also provided.

OU Level Setting has tabs like:

PF (General Info)        –       It has information regarding the PF like address, wages, DLI etc.

PF (Contribution)       –       The PF information can be classified into employee and employer specific type which helps in understanding the fields better.

ESI                         –        Similar to PF, Employee State Insurance details is also comprehensive with fields like wage ceiling, Lop days,Vol sharp etc.

TDS                        –        Tax Deducted at Source of the income of an employee can be calculated. There are fields for TDS formula, percentage, Account number etc.

Voucher Type           –        If necessary, enter the voucher type availed regarding the PF and ESI.

Pack Sl No             –        Here, as the field implies, the Pack excise serial number should be mentioned.
