Pay Revision – Pay Configuration

Pay Configuration tool illustrates the payment that will be planned and configured for the Overall Enterprises, or particular organizational unit, any particular department, and also for a single employee. The configuration pay which is affixed till further notice as discussed earlier in the previous tools, the change that occurs as per planned are done through this tool.  This reflects in the employee salary bifurcations, in which the Organization has planned to make the change.  Path: Transaction > Pay revision > Pay Configuration
  1. Type: The type is selected as a default.
  2. Revision No&Date: For a single entry, multiple revisions can be done depending on the requirement. So this field will reflect the latest revision number and enter a date when the pay configuration is revised.
  3. Reference No&Date: Enter the reference number and date for the pay configuration.
  4. Pay Configuration: The pay configuration which is needed to be revised will be selected in this field.
  5. Effective From&To: Select the revision period from the Effective From and To field, which should be at the start and end of any month.
  6. Remarks: Enter any remarks about the pay revision.
  7. The below table is consists of revision particulars, the required value will be entered in this field.
    1. Particulars: Enter the particulars name which is needed to be revised.
    2. Current Value: Enter the current value of the particular.
    3. Revised Value: Enter the revised value for the particular.
  8. Click the Save button.
This is how the Pay configuration is added to the employee salary, the Particular name is managed from the Organizations admin end, based on the components, it may be Basic, HRA, LTA, Bonus, and Perks it will be added.
