Path: Maintenance>Master>Parameter Every product and process should remain at a level of quality, and which can be ensured by checking a significant parameter in a particular period. Parameters are the characteristics of the product that can be checked to maintain the overall quality.
  1. Code: The code is a shorter way to define the name of the Parameter. For e.g., If the parameter name is Clearance, then the code is CLR.
  2. Name: The name of a parameter is needs to be entered here.
  3. Data Type: The data type of a parameter is needed to be entered here. The parameter data might be an integer, data, string, etc.
  4. Data Size: The size of parameter data will have a specific limit. This maximum size of the data is needed to be entered here.
  5. UOM: The unit of measurements for the data is needed to be entered here.
  6. Types of Info: The parameter will have a different type of information. The type of information is needed to be selected here.

7. Consolidation Type: This field is used to define a consolidation type of the parameter data. The parameter data will have minimum and maximum values or average values.

8. Minimum Value: The parameter data will have a minimum value. The minimum value of the parameter is needed to be entered here.

9. Field Minimum:

10. Maximum Value:  The parameter data will have a maximum limit. The maximum value of the parameter is needed to be entered here.

12. Status: The status of a parameter will be selected here. The active status is selected while creating the parameter.

13. Remarks: The remarks of a parameter will be entered in this field.
