Overtime Formula Creation and Configuration
Overtime is the amount of time someone works beyond normal working hours. Goodbooks HRMS plays a critical role in helping management to track the overtime of hourly employees. Knowing exactly how many hours everyone contributes is critical to making smart choices and handling potential overtime regulation changes. Goodbooks having an efficient way to enable overtime hours to the employees depends on the requirements. Follow the below instruction for overtime formula creation and configuration. Go to Path: HRMS - Master - Employee Details - Employee Master - Salary Once the Employee Master screen is opened, click the salary tab and the OT type field will be displayed. The overtime time field will have different types, select the required type as per the employee.- Not applicable: Selecting this type will make the employee is not applicable for both OT payment and Comp Off.
- OT Payment only: The employee profile will be enabled for OT only, he/she can able to work overtime and receive the benefits for overtime.
- Comp Off only: The employee profile will be only applicable for compensation off and their benefits.
- OT Payment& Comp.Off: The employee profile will be applicable for both compensation and overtime benefits in the organization.
