Lot Type

A lot is nothing but a set of items/processes and lot types are created in order to differentiate specific lots. There will be multiple lots and they may involve both items and processes and lot types are used for classification. lotyp2 Fields & its description:
  • Name
Enter a suitable name for the lot type here.
  • Lot Type
Process and Item are the options for different types of lot. If you are dealing with a group of items select item or Process if it is for a few related processes.
  • Lot Numbering Type
Choose whether you want the lot numbering to be automatically or manually generated.
  • Process/Item, SKU ID
Based on your selection from the lot type, choose the specific item or process from the given list. Similarly mention the SKU ID also, if it is an item.
  • Lot Number Size
Specify the size of the lot here.
  • Prefix/Suffix
Enter the prefix and suffix for the lot type generation.
  • From Number
Select a series of numbers so that the items of that lot will follow a sequence.
