Item Master – Unit & Pack

Unit & pack tab of item master refers to information regarding packing of the item, UOM set, stock unit, etc. u&p Fields & its description:
  • Purchase Unit
Specify the units by which purchases will be made for this item. E.g. Box, if a unit amounts to boxes.
  • Packing Details
If packing details are required for this item then select Yes otherwise No.
  • Stock Unit
This is the unit by which stock is maintained. E.g. Numbers.
  • Pack Set
Specify the name of the pack set which contains the item in this field.
  • Conversion Factor
Conversion factor of the stock unit. E.g. If you enter 10, then each unit accounts for 10 values.
  • UOM Set
Once you've created a unit of measure set and assigned it to an item, you can easily convert to other units of measure within the set when you add the item to a transaction. E.g. Bundle, box, etc.
  • Default Pack
If this item uses a default pack for packing, select that pack in this screen.
  • Case Count
