Items can be grouped into several entities using the item group screen. Group each item based on your requirements. Categorization of items help you to better identify and locate them.
Fields & its description:
Enter the code and name of the item group in this field.
If you notice the left side of the screen, there is space available to show the item groups in a tree wise representation.
The first entry should be kept as "none" and this will be saved as the parent group. Create several parents by following this method. If a child category is to be created then select a parent in under. E.g. Cello is the parent category and when you want to create a child called Buttersoft then select Cello as under.
