Period filter is an important type which can help you find what you are looking for based on the time period. You can retrieve entries from the previous year, month, day or even select the from and to period on your own.
Keep selecting the options (DTD - Day To Day, WTD - Week To Day) to see the variations in the period and choose the required dates using this method.
Task
From the screenshot above, the filter tab contains a comprehensive list of filters where you select the required specifics.
E.g. Selecting just the Department (Purchase) and In charge (Employee) will generate Tasks created under those parameters.
In addition to this, there is also an Advance filter field where checking this will enable an additional Operator column next to Particulars.
The inverse of the above example is also possible through this method.
E.g. After checking advance filter and selecting the same department and in charge, specify in Operator field the option: Not Equal. This will retrieve entries other than the mentioned parameters.
Likewise, the other options are:
Like - This will refer to all instances of the subject using code, name, short name etc.
In - To provide multiple selections of the same class. E.g. If you want to filter data from multiple departments, employees, allocations.
Not In - This will avoid values from the selections given by you. E.g. Choosing Not in with values say, work1, work2, work3 of Work class will generate tasks not belonging to those Works.
Also filter things like Status of the task (Pending, Assigned, In progress), Task Type ( Heading, Work, Task ) and similar types.
If you want to specify the Report format that you want, it can be done using the report tab. E.g. Schedule date wise, person wise, etc.
Configuration
Configuration is a useful feature letting you define predefined filter settings so that you don't have to select the same filter settings every time. This is very easy, after applying your filters go to the configuration tab. Here enter a name for the setting and click on the save button.
These settings can also be shared with other users if required by checking share settings field. If you want the saved setting to be set as default for future use then check on the make default field.
