Employee Skill

The Goodbooks skill tab captures the employee’s expertise in one particular or many fields. This field is integrated with the Qualification tab, in a few organizations employees are recruited on board not only with education but also goes with skill level. For example, in a manufacturing company, Engineering qualification will be wanted, in that based on the engineering company, a particular skill will be very needed for the hour. Therefore, the skill becomes an extra advantage to equip them both.  If an employee has an extra skill or undergoes extra training to update either themselves as internal training or external training for the purpose of career growth organization can also be recorded here. By updating the skill data, if the employer needs a person for the quick or new project can check in the below and internal transfer the employee.  Employee's skills can be mentioned and updated on this screen.
  1. Employee code & name: This field should contain the codes and names of the employees. Selecting a value shall result in information about that employee being displayed.
  2. Skill: The specific skill set possessed by the employee should be selected from the picklist.
    1. If the employee has newly joined the concern, the employee has to enter the details explained in the previous screen and click the Save button.                                               
    2. Or else, if the employee is already working, and upgraded the needed skill for the betterment of the company and them, should enter the particulars and click on the update button.
  3.  Level: Enter the level of proficiency of the employee in the skill.
    1. E.g. An employee can have level 3 typing skills. Here "typing" is the skill and "3" is the level.
  4.  Particulars: This field can be used to enter any particulars regarding this screen.
  5. Click the Save button.
