Employee Master-Attendance

The attendance tab is used for the organization to define the employee attendance type which could make the salary process easier.

Attendance: Click the attendance tab and enter the required details.

  • Shift: Select the type of shift that the employee is working. The employee may work in a specific shift. Shifts are defined by the administrator in the Shift Master.

  • Bio Match Number: Enter the appropriate bio match number for the employee.
  • Daily Report Required: The daily report is used to record the day-to-day tasks done by the employee. If this check box is selected, then the employee needs to submit the Daily Report.
  • Calendar: The organization will have a different calendar depends on the location, select the calendar type for the employee.
  • Functional Reporting To: Select the higher authority name whom the employee reports regarding the work. This can be the Unit Supervisor, Head of the Unit where the employee is first reporting and kept as default.

  • Admin Reporting To: Select the higher authority name whom the employee reports regarding the admin activities. This is where the employee directly reports to the, HR Manager, etc, 
  • Weekly Off Day: The weekly day off is correlated with the Shift type, as per the shift type and by the official day start the weekly day is assigned. For example, the shift day and time can start in the middle of the week, say Wednesday, so this is the week start for the employee and the week off has to be allotted either one day or two days. 
  • Type: Select the location where the employee is working. Whether the employee is working within the organization, or allocated to work in the client location, or any other location. On-field job, like marketing, or civil construction job, etc., Onsite’s, like traveling to another location, or destination. Considering this the employee will be allotted.
  • Punch Type: The punch type differs between the management, regular staff, production unit workers, and other staff and workers. The below picture illustrates the different types.

 

Create Register – After creating the above database, the attendance register will be created for the employee, this will include the shift hours, type, and punches. The register after the creation has to be assigned to the particular department, location, provisions applicable for the organization, which in turn, will result in Daily Attendance. 

Go to HRMS – Transaction – Attendance – Register creation
