Database Instance

A database server can have multiple instances like MSQL2012, MSQL2013, MSQL2014 as such and you are able create database instances in this screen. dbins2 Fields & description:
  • Select Server
Enter the server or select an already existing server for which the database instance is to be created.
  • Client
This field will generate the list of all your organization's clients. Select the relevant client.
  • Site
Enter the client's website name.
  • Instance
Type the name of the database instance which you want to create. In the Load Standard data, you can check this option if you want all the predefined standard data to be loaded for your new database instance. Sync Required should be checked if you want synchronization to take place as different clients have different modules with unique data.
