Bill Of Resources (BOR)

Bill of resources lists out the resources required to complete the production of a finished product. These resources maybe labor, machinery or materials depending on the requirement. BOR Fields & its description:
  • Type
Choose the target BOR type here. Depending on your selection, the fields below will be enabled or disabled. E.g. If your choice is Work center, only that field will be enabled. The following types are available: Item Process (Routing) Operation Nesting Plan Work Center Asset Activity Activity
  • Version
After selecting your BOR type, choose a version. This version of the BOR will fill details in the grid below.
  • From Date
The dates in these fields relate to version validity. The specifics are available in the grid below.
  • Resource Type
This is the type of resource used for the process. E.g. Technician
  • Resource
Here the exact resource can be mentioned. This should correspond with the resource type selected above. E.g. Technician Emplopyee.
  • No Of Resource
The resource quantity can be specified in this field. Enter the number of resources needed.
  • Time UOM
This is the UOM for time which is usually in minutes based on your settings.
  • Setup Time
Setup time refers to the installation time of the resource.
  • Cycle Time
Cycle time is the duration of the resource process.
  • Batch Qty
Specify the quantity per batch of the process here. E.g. For a single production process, the total quantity for the batch can be x numbers.
  • Variable Qty
  • Duration
This is the total duration of the process, calculated using the sum of cylce time and setup time.
  • Workload
Workload is in relation to how much work was done vs the overall capacity. This is in percentage.
