Cyclical Items In BOM
The BOMs defined may be cyclical, meaning a BOM maybe a material in itself. E.g. Consider a scenario where BOM A has BOM A1, BOM A2 and BOM A3. This seems normal but what if BOM A2 has BOM A listed in one of its material list. Hence this creates an infinite loop. Avoid this by clicking on the button which will let you know about these instances in reports.
Expanded BOM Posting
Sometimes BOMs will be hidden to not reveal the complete material list. For detailed information requirements, you might want to view the whole BOM along with its particulars. Click on this button and all BOMs will be expanded and posted.
Item Level Posting
In order to view the final/lowest level of BOMs click on this button. This ensures that you can view only the lowest level of a particular BOM.
Post All
Click on the post all button and this will post all the above settings in one go.Contents
