Activity

Each and every day there are numerous actions performed in the organization. And keeping track of changes manually can be a cumbersome task. The activity log feature in Goodbooks HRMS automates this process by tracking and storing information. The activity screen is used to record transactions of calls and activities. Keep track of time and status of completion for calls and activities using this screen. act  
  1. Type: The default transaction type as per the settings is displayed in this field. And it can be changed as required.
  2. Number: The activity number is a unique transaction number that is generated automatically once filling in all the details.
  3. Action Date: The date of action for this activity is needed to be entered in this field.
  4. Ref Number, Date: Enter a reference number and its date if required in the fields.
  5. Person: Choose the employee responsible for this activity transaction.
  6. Period From/To: Specify the starting and ending period of this transaction.
  7. Now you can enter the specifics in the grid below.
    • Type: Choose the type from the given list. This will filter entries in the particulars column. Select Call if this activity is based on a call. Choose Activity if this is work apart from calls.
    • Particulars: Based on the type you have chosen, select the particular call/activity.
    • Status: Specify the status of the transaction here. This may be Pending or Completed.
    • From, To Time: Enter the starting time and ending time of the activity in From and To fields.
    • Duration: Based on your from and to entries, the total duration is automatically calculated.
    • Completed %: Enter an approximate estimation of the percentage of activity completed.
    • Reason: If applicable, select a reason from the given list. In addition to this, you can also enter any remarks in the following field.
  8. Click the Save to button to record the activity.
