Bank tab of the account master is used for storing information related to the bank used by the organization. Details like the account number, branch, etc., can be saved.

Fields & description:

• Bank Selection

Bank selection is used to generate the type of banks to be displayed in the bank field. There are two options. From Account if you want to display banks used by your organization and From Bank to display the rest of the banks.

• Bank

Select the bank used by your organization from the pick list.

• Branch

Here, the branch of the bank used should be selected.

• Account Type

Choose the account type from this pick list. E.g. Savings account, checking account, etc.

• Account Number

Enter the full account number of the account in this field.

• IFSC Code

This is the Indian Financial System Code of the bank.

• Payment Favoring

 Type the mode of payment favored in this field. This is mainly for preference purposes.
