Party master allows you to create a party (vendor or client) where details about the party can be entered. Control account, currency, type of party, etc., and other information can be filled.

Fields & its description:

• Code Category

This is mainly for generation of code, enter a category depending on which, code shall be displayed. E.g. If you create a code category “vendor” then codes shall be prefixed with “V0001” if it is set as such.

• Control Account

Select the control account which is responsible for all the transactions of the party.

•  Code, Name & Short name

Code is automatically generated and a name for the party is to be typed. Similarly enter a short name for the party.

•  Currency

Select the currency used for business with the party.

Select the party type from the available options.

•  Account Group

Account group of the party should be selected in this field.
