Master Scheduling is the primary method for planning and scheduling production to support external demand. This tool allows for detailed entry of production forecasts and generates a Master Production Schedule by combining these forecasts with sales order demands.

Navigation Path: Planning>Master>Master Schedule

1. Follow the above steps to open the ‘Master Scheduling’ screen.

2. Enter the ‘Code’ of the Master Schedule.

3. Enter the ‘Name’ of the Master Schedule desired to create or it is automatically selected when the ‘Code’ is entered in the previous field.

4. Select the ‘Organization Type’ from the provided options:
   1. All: Applicable to all the OU (Organizational Unit) created by the user.
   2. Organization: Applicable to selected Organizations
   3. Organization Group: Applicable to Organization Group created by a user.

5. Select the ATP ‘Include in ATP (Available to Promise)’ option if needed. ATP is a critical calculation that is used in supply chain management, manufacturing, and fulfilment to control the proportional distribution of products. (Featured)

6. Select the ‘Auto Release’, if needed:
   1. Ticking the checkbox enables the to automatically release the demand order after MRP Run Process.

7. Select the validity date for the current forecast of MRP created using the ‘Valid till date’ option.

8. Click ‘Save’ to create the Master Schedule or ‘Update’ if modifications are made to the previously created Master Schedule.
