Calendar

In ESS the ‘Calendar’ briefs the employees whole months work activity. This records the employees

  • Present days – This marks the full day as present it will show as ‘PP’
  • Half-day present and absent – This marks, that the employee is half-day present, either morning or afternoon, A – represents first half as AP and B – represents the second half as BP.
  • Sick leave – In Sick leave, when an employee falls sick, and sudden leave has been sanctioned by the organization, it also captures either morning or afternoon. It will reflect as ASL – First half sick leave or BSL – second half sick leave.
  • Casual leave –  Casual leave also represents the same as the above
  • On-Duty – It will reflect as ODL.
  • Weekly off –  Week-off is default set in the calendar, for example, Sunday is usually week off in many organizations. But when an employee, has an appointment scheduled on Sunday, the employee can previously apply for On-duty or can punch in, they can access remotely if the provision is provided from the organization’s end. So the day will be recorded as PP or ODL.

The Calendar will clearly show the exact details about the present and absent entries.

The employee can choose from the above option, whether months calendar or each day calendar.

Below a sample pic is attached for understanding the concept of how to select the day or month. The purpose of the calendar is developed to help employees who can see the days taken as On-Duty, Comp-off, Earned Leave, Comp-off. And also each day count represents on which category the attendance falls into.
